Included are books, pamphlets, serials and other documents that provide accounts of exploration, trade, colonialism, slavery and abolition, the western movement, Native Americans, and military actions in the western hemisphere. The set contains data in JPEG format (segmented into pages) and XML format (segmented into documents).
