Recorded live at the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos in Lisbon, Portugal, Pierre Boulez conducts the symphony; selections include Maurice Ravel's "Le Tombeau de Couperin," BeÌla BartoÌk's "Concerto for Orchestra, Sz 116," and Claude Debussy's "Fetes." The brilliant pianist Maria João Pires makes a guest appearance on the Mosteiro stage, interpreting Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Piano Concerto No. 20 in D Minor."
