At the Millennium, countries around the world promised to reduce the number of people in extreme poverty by 50% before year 2015. In some parts of the world, the implementation of the so-called Millennium goals is on its way but many African countries are lagging behind. One of them is Ethiopia. In the series At the Bottom of the World, we meet beggars and peasants affected by drought and the boy Zenabu, who fights for the right to attend school.
