Summary
Few people know that in southwestern China, live the Mosso, one of the world's last matriarchal societies. Men visit their sweethearts at night and leave at dawn. Meet two generations of women, one the beloved mother, who is manager of a fifteen member family and takes care of five brothers in walking marriages and Binma, her daughter who wishes to be set free to pursue her true love.
