Summary
Dr Ron Federici, an American psychologist, has devised a controversial treatment plan for aggressive, conduct-disordered children. The treatment is undeniably tough in its approach, advocating a regime of rigid control: isolated from the outside world, the children must stay three feet away from their parents at all times and are restrained if they disobey. Horizon follows the progress of two children, Haley and Sergei, as they undertake the course of treatment, supervised by Dr Federici himself. The question is, is it damaging to the children, or does it actually work?
