Manuscript list in several unidentified hands documenting 24 enslaved men in San Isidro de las Piedras, Uruguay, 1845 October 13. The list includes the men's names, their enslavers, when and from whom they were purchased, and notes about their jobs and parentage.
Annotations on the list include "Jose Anto Cabrera Esclavo" and "¡Vivan los defensores de las Leyes!! ¡Mueran los [salge?] Unitarios!!” - likely a reference to the Uruguayan Civil War of 1839-1851, in which the Uruguayan Colorados allied themselves with the Argentinian Unitarios.
