Print depicts two sides of a medal side by side; on the obverse, a bust portrait of Benjamin Franklin in profile to the right; on the reverse, a winged genius standing below lightning striking a building and standing above a broken crown and scepter; with inscription "Eripuit cœlo fulmen sceptrum que tyrannis" above, and below ,on the base of the medal, with inscription "Sculp. et decav. Aug. Dupré anno MDCCLXXXIV.
