"The sett, and decreet arbitral of King James the 6th. Of blessed memory. Containing the fundamental principles of the government of the city of Edinburgh, and deciding all differences between merchants and craftsmen therein, as is is registrat in the books of council .." and "Acts of the tovvn council of Edinburgh" have separate dated title pages and pagination and continuous register; "The copy of the decreet arbitral betwixt the merchands and craftsmen of this brugh [sic], as it is registrate in the buiks of counsel" has caption title on p. 1 (first sequence); and "Act anent the town clerks" has caption title on p. 1 (third sequence).
