Autograph special and general orders, signed, of Major General L. Y. Fox of the Nevada militia, 1878 June 28. Special orders call for division staff to attend an Independence Day celebration; general orders confirm Fox's assumption of command and appointment of staff. Orders are also signed by Lieutenant Colonel and Assistant Adjutant General J. H. Mathewson.
