Summary
Gundermann erzählt von einem Baggerfahrer, der Lieder schreibt. Der ein Poet ist, ein Clown und ein Idealist. Der träumt und hofft und liebt und kämpft. Ein Spitzel, der bespitzelt wird. Ein Weltverbesserer, der es nicht besser weiss. Ein Zerrissener. Gundermann ist Liebes- und Musikfilm, Drama über Schuld und Verstrickung, eine Geschichte vom Verdrängen und Sich-Stellen. Gundermann ist ein Film über Heimat. Er blickt noch einmal neu auf ein verschwundenes Land. Es ist nicht zu spät dafür. Es ist an der Zeit.
