Summary
Photograph album with photographs and photographic postcards compiled by an unidentified compiler of a small group of unidentified women traveling from Panama to Chicago, Illinois, circa 1928-1936. Among the identified locations are Cristobal, Gatun Locks, and the Panama Canal; Cartagena, Colombia; Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Yosemite National Park; the Grand Canyon; Yellowstone National Park; Pikes Peak, Colorado; and Chicago. Photographs at the beginning of the album show the travelers aboard the ship Guatemala; photographs at the end show them at a residence in Chicago identified as belonging to the Bredfeldt family. Photographs taken at or near the Grand Canyon show unidentified Indigenous men engaged in dance. 2 photographic postcards are attributed to Piggott Photo.
