Summary
This 23-minute video is part of a 22-video series that comprises the Design Thinking course developed at Darden. It addresses the question, why does design thinking matter? The value of design thinking begins with a growth mindset, and the design thinking methodology works to ensure that new ideas or new problems are approached with a growth mindset rather than a fixed mindset. It is meant to accompany any one of three cases (Arena Industries [UVA-S-0240], Trenton State College [UVA-S-0241], or Great Lakes [UVA-S-0248]) that explore the design thinking approach to innovative problem solving.
