BEIN Osborn fpa53 2: 33 cm. Bookplate with the crest of the Marquess of Exeter, above what appears to be the monogram: CF; pasted over bookplate of Joseph Gulston (1744 or 1745-1786), dated 1768. Manuscript shelfmark on bookplate: An.L.V. Five pages of front endpapers contain an excerpt from William Hayley's 18th-century Essay on history, copied down in manuscript (note VIII, verse 136; concerning the chronicler Jean Froissart). From the collection of Toshiyuki Takamiya. No. 2 of 2 titles bound together with binder's title: Froissart's cronicles of England &c. Accompanied by: bookseller's description (1 leaf).
