[?] Howard, May 1822 [?], from Henry Howard of Colby [?] Esq. as executor to the late Duke of Norfolk." Also with Howard's armorial bookplate, bearing his autograph.

In 1819 several cancels and additions were made in v. 1 as follows: 5 sheets, p. cxlv-clxviii, were issued to replace p. cxlv-clxvi (in L. C. copy the canceled leaves have been retained and follow substituted matter); cancels at p. 177-8 and 227-8; additions and corrections, 18 p.; map of the rape of Chichester and port. of John Buckner added.
