Summary
12 color stipple engravings printed on silk, depicting classical and mythological scenes, circa 1750-1800. One scene, captioned "Winter", was engraved by John Ogborne after a work by William Hamilton. One scene, depicting Athena bringing Pegasus to the Muses at Mount Helicon, was engraved by Jacques-Louis Copia after a work by Giovanni Battista Cipriani. One scene, depicting an unidentified classical scene, was engraved by Auguste Sandoz. Nine prints are by unidentified artists and depict classical subjects, including an allegory of autumn and scenes featuring Apollo and Athena, the Muses, and Nymphs.
