Summary
As well as the drama of treating sick and injured animals, viewers are also hooked by the ups and downs of the young vets' personal lives and career moves in this fly-on-the-wall documentary. In this series, a national outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease adds a horrendous problem to the young vets' already complicated lives. Meanwhile, Trude and her best friend, Maria, are settling into a new practice of their own; Emma and Joe have split up and are forging new lives apart; and Keith gets an attack of malaria in his new job in Kenya.
