Wa-ʻinda Ibn ʻAbbās wa-ghayrihi, maʻná qawlihi taʻālá 'illā al-mawaddah fī al-qurbá', wa-kawnuhu min ashrafihim wa-arfaʻihim wa-afḍalihim ʻalá qirāʼat al-fatḥ, wa-hādhihi nihāyat al-madḥ. Thumma waṣafahu baʻdu bi-awṣāf ḥamīdah, wa-athná ʻalayhi bi-maḥāmid kathīrah, min ḥirṣihim ʻalá hidāyatihim wa-rushdihim wa-islāmihim wa-shiddat mā yaʻnatuhum wa-yaḍurr bi-him fī dunyāhum wa-ukhrá hum [wa-ukhrāhum] ..."

الخاتمة: "قد تيسّر الفراغ من تحرير هذه النسخة الشريفة، الموسومة بـِ'الشفا في تعريف حقوق المصطفى'، من يد العبد الضعيف النحيف، أحمد بن الحاجّ محمد، الملقب بالنظيف، بعون الملك اللطيف، غفر الله لهما وستر عيوبهما، في بلدة قسطنطنية، حماها الله من البليّة، في رجب، سنة 1180."
Translation of the colophon: "The completion of this noble copy, titled al-Shifā fī taʻrīf ḥuqūq al-Muṣṭafá', was facilitated by the help of the Gracious King, in the hand of the feeble and debilitated servant, Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥājj Muḥammad, nicknamed bi-al-Naẓīf, may God forgive both of them and cover their blemishes, in the city of Qusṭanṭinīyah [Istanbul, Turkey], may God protect it from calamity, during [the month of] Rajab, of the year 1180 [of the Hijrah = 3 December 1766-1 January 1767]."

Summary
"al-Shifā bi-taʻrīf ḥuqūq al-Muṣṭafá" (Healing in proclaiming the precepts of the Chosen One), a treatise on the life and deeds of the Prophet Muḥammad, by al-Qāḍī ʻIyāḍ ibn Mūsá al-Yaḥṣubī (1083-1149), a prolific Mālikī scholar and qāḍī (judge), from the town of Sabtah "Ceuta", now a Spanish possession on the northwest coast of Africa, located at the Mediterranean entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. The beginning of the present manuscript is missing. Copied during the month of Rajab of the year 1180 of the Hijrah (3 December 1766-1 January 1767), in the city of Qusṭanṭinīyah (Istanbul, Turkey), by Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥājj Muḥammad al-mulaqqab bi-al-Naẓīf.
