Biographical / Historical Note
Ruby Marion Trogdon (1918-2010) was born in Richmond, Virginia to Gladys Ellinger Marion (1897-1957) and Houston Brisco Marion (1893-1987). She and her family were among the first converts to Mormonism in Waynesboro, Virginia. Marion married William Trogdon in 1948 and they divorced in 1970. She lived in Waynesboro for most of her life, where she worked in her family's antique furniture store.

Lindstrom's letters primarily discuss his social life and interest in the antiques business, along with some letters concerning his work as a missionary and his life after he returned to Utah. Also present are letters from Trogdon's mother Gladys Ellinger Marion (1897-1957), sister Evelene Marion Miller (1916-2009), and husband William Trogdon (1919-2010). Letters from her mother and sister primarily share family news. Letters from her husband discuss their courtship, his work as an engineer, and their divorce.
