Summary
Manuscript essay, unsigned, in an unidentified hand on church politics, 18th century. Essay begins: "Wherein the Rule and Conduct of our Reverend Clergy is now administred previous to Christ's Gospel, and is become so very disagreeable to the Protestant Reformation, that by them a Departure from the Original is most plainly showed in their Doctorship and University-Degrees." The author speculates "the most amazing Battle of Armageddon to be assembled out of the Religious Sects within our English Nation." Text includes references to numerous Biblical verses.
