29 autograph letters, signed, from Sir Herbert Croft to William Osgoode. Croft’s letters primarily discuss aspects of their friendship and social events occurring in England. Letters also discuss editions of his book Love and Madness and the death of Samuel Johnson. Some letters include poetry written by Croft. Also includes two autograph letters, signed, from Croft to John Davison.
