This book was written in the region of Arní, in the blessed village of HWB(S)N, under the patronage of the noble among the saints and the enthusiast among the diligent, Mār Qúryaqús, the noble martyr ... This book was copied by a guilty person ... Zayʻā, by name a priest, son of the Deacon Šlémún son of the Priest Gewargís, of the priests' community ... It was completed in the month of Šbāṭ [February], the twenty-fifth day of it, on Friday, the twentieth day of the redemptive fasting ..."

Summary
Collection of two manuscripts, as follows: 1. "Ktābā d-lúqāṭe" (Book of Gleanings), also called "Ktābā d-Debúrítā" (Book of the Bee), by Solomon Bishop of Basra, active 1222, on the work of Divine dispensation in the history of the world, from Creation to the Resurrection. The author gleans ideas and concepts from a wide variety of writings. Hence, the title of the book; a "bee" gathering nectar from multiple flowers (folios 1b-82b). The text is preceded (folios 1b-2b) by a table of contents. Copied on Saturday, the 28th of Kānūn (probably January), of the year 1998 of the Greeks (1687). 2. "Mʻarat gazē" (Cave of treasures), an Apocryphal work, presenting a chronicle of world history from the Creation up through the Pentecost (folios 82b-134a). The book is attributed in the present manuscript to Māry Aprem (Ephraem, Syrus, Saint, 303-373). Copied on the 25th of the month of Šbāṭ (February), of the Year 1998 of the Greeks (1687). Both manuscripts were copied by Priest Zayʻā bar Šlémún bar Gíwargís, in the village of HW(B)SN (?), identified by some as Hovarsīn (northwest of Urmia, West Azerbaijan, Iran), in the region of Arní.
