A descendent of the Dusun-Murut hilltribes of Borneo, her traditional and ancestral homelands stretch from her birthplace in the interior plains of Tenom to the foothills of Mount Kinabalu and the river Kiulu, her grandmother's country. Olivia's fieldwork encompasses Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region, and includes creating digital stories shared through oral histories, song and sound walks with First Nations storytellers.
