Summary
A powerful drama of a young man's search for acceptance and love in contemporary Britain. David, a troubled teenager, flees his foster family and native town, and embarks on a journey to find his real father. In so doing, he leaves behind a stunning nature reserve, the only place where he can feel at peace. His epic quest brings him into contact, in turn, with three extraordinary young women: the doomed young teenager, Anne Marie; Jenny, a spirited environmental campaigner; and Kate, David's secret half-sister. Their impact on David leads to a gripping rites-of-passage.
