Summary
Describing a tour undertaken by Jane Waldie with her brother John, and her sister Charlotte, these manuscripts are the anecdotal diary of travel in the North of Europe, with much reference to Napoleon Bonaparte, the English army and the Duke of Wellington, and the events surrounding the battle of Waterloo. Waldie describes the field of Waterloo and comments on life in French cities, especially Paris.
