Ownership inscription on front recto second flyleaf: El-Ḥācc Meḥmed bin Ḫalife (الحاج محمد بن خليفة) H. 1169 [that is, 1756]. Ownership inscription on recto second flyleaf: Ebūbekir ferzend-i (son of) ‘Alī (ابو بكر فرزند علي) H.1189 [that is, 1775] including his three oval stamps. Ownership inscription on recto second flyleaf with his four circle stamps: Süleymān ibn Ḥüseyin (سليان ابن حسين) H. 1223 [that is, 1809]. Oval stamp and ownership inscription (f. 1a): El-Ḥācc Muṣṭafá bin Alī known as Ḥancı-zāde (الحاج مصطفي بن علي حنجي زاده). Book stamp and ownership inscription (f. 1a): Muṣṭafá bin Meḥmed known as Ṣāliḥpaşa-zāde (مصطفى بن محمد صالح پاشازاده). Donation inscription of Süleymān Efendi (سليمان أفندي), born in Tekfurdağı (that is, Edirne, Turkey). One unidentified red stamp also on recto second flyleaf. Summary
Manuscript, on paper, of Vankulu Mehmet Efendi's Vanḳuli, an Ottoman Turkish translation of the Arabic dictionary Tâcü'l-luġat ve ṣıḥâḥu'l-ʻArabiyye (تاج اللغة وصحاح العربية) by el-Cevherī (الجوهري). Translation preserves some grammatical terms in Arabic. Marginal corrections throughout by the scribe of the main text.
