Dancing girls and musicians from Madras. A girl in the costume of a temple dancer is concentrating on her movements in the centre of the drawing. She is accompanied by a drummer to her left and a bagpiper and two hand cymbal players behind her, while two other girls on the right wait to join in, one of whom may be the teacher beating time with her foot. Pencil pen-and-ink and watercolour. British school.
