Summary
The relationship between love and 'madness' was at the heart of the production. The Greek Island-inspired set designed by Kit Surrey consisted of white-washed houses and a variety of arches and alleyways. Robert Bryan s lighting was also crucial in creating the Aegean tone and exploited the device of shining dazzlingly bright light on a particular spot to indicate a dark room. The more illogical the behaviour, the stronger the lighting effect.
