Notes on a meeting between Senator Jacob K. Javits and the Chancellor of the Treasury in which they discussed the "Committee of 9" (established by the North Atlantic Assembly to conduct a study of the future of the Alliance). They discussed the problems of countries with deficits and the possibility of a world recession. Included is a biographical note on Senator Jacob K. Javits.
