Summary
An indigenous village in the Amazon seals itself in and constructs a building for the infected. A mother sees her baby take its first steps and longs for her family. A married couple, on the brink of separating, are forced to isolate together. A homeless man tries to find a place to live while navigating COVID controls. A young woman returns to her ultra-orthodox family home. A nurse buries an old woman in a foreign country. Filmed over a year in twelve different locations, this film profiles the year when everything changed. Stories of hope, despair, and a feeling that everyone has had to face: the sense of our own mortality.
