A reply to Pulteney's An answer to one part of a late infamous libel intituled Remarks on the Craftsman's vindication of his two honourable patrons.
Remarks, by Hervey, is an attack on Bolingbroke and Pulteney written in reply to the last letter of Bolingbroke's Remarks on the history of England, a defense of Pulteney and himself, which appeared in the Craftsman.
Mr. P** is William Pulteney.
Title page has two variants: one has "<Price one shilling.>" on half-title below ornaments and single rule on title page below "Remarks, &c."; the other has no price mark on half-title; it has double rule on title page below "Remarks, &c."
