Title pages only; separately printed by Horace Walpole to accompany his octavo volumes of "Tracts of George 3".
Date from Hazen.
Engraved vignette, sometimes in red, is the smaller fleuron first used in the Horace Walpole's Catalogue of royal and noble authors, 1758, publisher also at the Strawberry Hill Press.
These title pages were printed in three groups, apparently from the end of 1763 to about April 1768, for Horace Walpole's "Tracts of George 3": Volumes I-VI printed probably at the end of 1763; Volumes VII-VIII, printed in the autumn of 1764; and Volumes IX-XIX printed probably in 1768, after April.
