A series of documents of the third century B.C. were discovered in 1915 at the site of the ancient Philadelphia. The Greek papyri found formed part of the correspondence of Zenon, agent of Apollonius, manager in the name of Ptolemy II Philadelphus, of the economic life of Egypt. This study deals with only a part of the correspondence.
