About July 1835, its small subscription list was transferred to The Colonizationist, Philadelphia. The editorial control of it was in the hands of Leonard Bacon. [signed] L.W.B. [i.e. Leonard Woolsey Bacon], Norwich, Aug. 10, 1899."
