First edition of the Dutch translation of the Legenda aurea (Golden Legend) compiled by Jacobus de Voragine, archbishop of Genoa. This collection of saints' lives and legends is arranged according to the liturgical calendar of the Utrecht diocese and is divided into winter and summer parts, Winter (Winterstuc), dated 31 July 1478 and Summer (Somerstuc), dated 10 May 1478.
