Notes
During the British occupation of New York nos. 1301-1307, Sept. 21-Nov. 2, 1776, were published in Newark, N.J.
On Sept. 30, 1776 a paper of the same name, numbered 1301, with imprint "Printed by Hugh Gaine" was published by the British. The printer's name was omitted on the next issues, Oct. 7-Nov. 4, 1776. Gaine returned to New York and from Nov. 11, 1766-1783 his name appeared as printer.
