BEIN 2013 1675 1 & 2: Paperbound. On the front cover of v. 1 & 2 Bettina Bergery has printed "Mechant Benny" ['Naughty Benny'] below the author's name; her ownership inscription is written on the preliminary pages. Both volumes also include marks next to selected names in the indexes. Volume 1 contains numerous ms. notes, especially on pages 426 and 427 which refer to her husband, Gaston Bergery. Volume 1 is accompanied by two items: a belly band, across which is written "Historie d'une collaboration;" and a small sheet printed on both sides with excerpts from reviews of "le premier tome de 'De la défaite au désastre.'" From the papers of Bettina Bergery.
Notes
The "Appendices" in both v. 1& 2 include documents that are referenced in the texts [the "Index des documents cités en Appendice" in v. 2 incorrectly lists only nine of the ten documents that appear].
