Summary
Bound volume of pen-and-ink sketches interleaved with humorous manuscript verses about Frederick Esenwein, Louis Lang, and Fred Schwarzwalder in New York in 1850: on a boat outing, attending a birthday party for Charles Esenwein's 50th birthday, and getting caught in a thunderstorm, which wrecks Louile's painting studio. A second title page "Fredele's and Louile's Life and Advnentures [sic] illustrated by Louis Lang, 1851" is followed by a double page sketch and a description of New Year's visits.
