Summary
Dutch etching of a Mohawk chief named Sychnecta who visited Blaauw[?] shortly after the French and Indian War. The chief is depicted full length, wearing a headpiece with feathers, a shirt with full sleeves, a skirt gathered in front, with a bow and arrow in his left hand, a pipe-tomahawk held to his mouth with his right hand. A pair of snowshoes are at his right.
