Summary
Collection of documents, mainly letters, written in pre-World War II Podgorze, a suburb of Krakow, Poland. Includes approx. 35 letters signed by rabbis of Podgorze-Krakow, as well as letters signed by social welfare societies such as "Hevrah kedoshah Talmud Torah," "Va'ad ha-hatsalah ha-mercaz ha-Yehudi," "Hevrah Kedoshah Bikur holim," and others. All the letters concern communal affairs except for two, which are Biblical exegeses about an event that occurred in the community.
