Summary
Filmed over a period of 22 years, this film documents the socioeconomic changes in the lives of three women workers of Wittstock, East Germany, visiting them in 1974/1975, 1977/1978, 1983/1984, 1990/1991, 1993, and 1996--the period during which the Berlin Wall fell and the East German economy switched from socialism to capitalism.
