Summary
After a long absence abroad Hans Wedderkamp returns to Hamburg to find his friend, Pitter, in financial difficulties. Pitter owns the Hippodrom on the Reeperbahn and owing to its location it is doing poorly. Wedderkamp agrees to do a musical revue for Pitter's house and it is a great success. In the background are a pair of gangsters and a lost daughter.
