Summary
Manuscript on paper, in a single hand, recording speeches and petitions made in Parliament between March 1627 and June 1628, on such issues as a "petition of both houses against Recusants," whether a man can be taken prisoner without a cause expressed against him, and "A Remonstrance intended to be offered up to the King conscerning Tonnage and poundage." Preceded, in the same hand, by a 25-page copy of "The danger wherein the kingdome now standeth; and the remedie," by Sir Robert Cotton.
