Revised version of the short 1953 film La bergère et le ramoneur, incorporating some images and four songs from the earlier version.

Summary
A tyrannical king is in love with the portrait of a shepherdess that hangs in his palace. When the shepherdess comes to life and flees with her beloved chimney sweep, the king pursues them and a bird comes to their rescue.
