Summary
"George Simba, a small-time mechanic, is embarking on a new bus transport business when he is suddenly reunited with his estranged 18 years old son, Lumumba, who he has not met for the past 5 years. Their initial attempts to bond and find new common ground, are complicated by a sinister plot of George's long time nemesis, the conniving Musa Milele, who has other plans for George's bus that threaten not only the relationship between father and son, but the lives of their would be passengers as well. The maiden trip of George's bus named "African Pride" and the attitude of her passengers, forms the back-drop of the film that seeks to highlight parallels in the different attitudes Africa has toward donor aid and the dilemma that present day Africa finds itself in, by posing the pertinent question: does Africa really need--help?"--Container.
