Draft resolution, in twenty-six numbered lines. The resolution also provided that "every person shall have and enjoy the full liberty of uniting with, and paying to the support of, whatever religious society he may choose," "every person neglecting to unite himself with some religious society ... shall be classed with the parish or precinct in which he may reside, and shall be liable to be taxed by the same," and "every denomination of Christians ... shall be equally under the protection of the law; and no subordination of any sect or denomination to another, shall ever be established by law."
