Summary
Mr. Fāḍil (Maḥmūd al-Milījī) is an alcoholic and a gambler. His victims are his wife (Amīnah Rizq) and two daughters Fāṭimah (Shādiyah) and Amal (Suhayr Fakhrī). Shortly after his suicide, his wife dies leaving the two daughters to face an unknown destiny. Faṭimah hopes to marry Ḥasan (Muḥsin Sarḥān), the son of the manager of the company (Sirāj Munīr) in which her father worked. But Ḥasan goes to France to pursue his studies. Will the two sisters be able to face life on their own?
