Summary
"A screen adaptation of the poetic fairy tale by Alexander Grin. In a small fisherman's village there lived the reclusive Longren with his daughter. Once an experienced sailor, he was now retired and raising alone his little Assol. The neighbors avoided Longren's house, holding him for an unsociable and vicious person. However, he and his daughter were just not like the others, and only one man could discern this. That man was a brave sailor named Gray who made Assol's fondest wish come true. Since her childhood she had been waiting for a man that would come to her on a ship under crimson sails"--Container.
