A noisemaker with two identical, caricatured faces of a black man, each stapled to one side of a paddle. When the paddle is moved back and forth, the faces hit the paddle and make a clacking noise.
The faces are in relief, are made of gutta percha, and have exaggerated features; the skin and hair are gray, the lips are red, the neckerchief is white, and the area around the staple is blue. Below the staple is an illegible blind stamp, possibly spelling out the word "Germany." The paddle is made of light brown cardboard.
