Manuscript account book, almost entirely in a single hand, containing detailed daily household accounts for a Bath family from 1799 to 1823. Purchases recorded include food, drink, medicine, cloth and other clothing purchases, candles, coals, and "washing;" transportation; books and paper; the poor rate and other taxes; and wages for odd jobs.
