Summary
Sebuah kisah pengorbanan seorang perempuan, seorang anak kyai Salafiyah sekaligus seorang ibu dan isteri. Anissa (Revalina S Temat), seorang perempuan dengan pendirian kuat, cantik dan cerdas. Anisa hidup dalam lingkungan keluarga kyai pesantren Salafiah puri Al-Huda, Jawa Timur yang konservatif. Baginya ilmu sejati dan benar hanyalah Al-Quran, Hadis dan Sunnah. Buku modern dianggap menyimpang. Dalam pesantren Salafiah putri Al Huda diajarkan bagaimana menjadi seorang perempuan muslim dimana pelajaran itu membuat Anissa beranggapan bahwa Islam membela laki-laki, perempuan sangat lemah dan tidak seimbang.
Story about the sacrifice of an orthodox Muslim woman, Anissa. She grew up in a strong Islamic environment, but she always believed in women's emancipation and she broke the Islamic tradition. Anissa met Khudori who taught her different world and they fell in love each other, but they had to be separated for some years. Khudori continued his studies at a university in Cairo, Egypt and Anissa tried to continue in Yogyakarta, but was rejected by her father and she married Samsudin even though she did not love him. In fact, Samsudin got married for the second time with a different woman. Anissa desired to be the Muslim woman that she became after she met Khudori.
